Louis Piconi brings decades of experience building and scaling mission-driven organizations that partner effectively with government. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Louis co-founded Think Through Math (TTM), an EdTech platform that redesigned how states support student learning. By combining adaptive technology with live, certified teachers, he helped school systems improve math outcomes at scale from an initial group of 23 students to more than 5 million students served annually nationwide. His leadership earned him Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2017.

A significant part of Louis’s success came from understanding how to work with government at every level. As CEO of TTM, he built one of the strongest state-aligned sales operations in the industry, securing long-term contracts in states such as Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Idaho, and Indiana. Clients trusted his team because they delivered results, navigated procurement processes efficiently, and consistently met state-level performance expectations. TTM was acquired by Imagine Learning in 2019.

In 2022, Louis brought this same skill set to Wonderschool, where he led the development of a government practice focused on strengthening early childhood education systems. Under his direction, Wonderschool established a state-level presence in eight states, supported providers in 47 states, and delivered tools and services to nearly 36,000 early childhood programs. This growth reflects Louis’s ability to build solutions that meet government priorities, create sustainable impact, and scale in complex environments.

Louis holds a degree from Penn State and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. His commitment to improving public systems also includes 10 years of service as an elected school board member, where he oversaw initiatives that drove measurable gains in student and district performance, including moving food services to a farm-to-table model.
